Esso Pipeline Replacement Project – August 2016 update
Back to News
September 2016
Esso is currently replacing the 187 kilometre pipeline that transports crude oil and condensate between Longford and Long Island Point. The project is progressing well with 130 kilometres of the 187 kilometre pipeline route now installed. The replacement pipeline is being constructed adjacent to existing pipelines and within easements held by Esso, which are set aside for its crude oil, condensate and LPG pipelines.
Esso awarded the contract to construct the replacement pipeline to Nacap Australia in 2015.
