Celebrating 50 Years of Papua New Guinea Independence with Our Nacap Team
At Nacap, we’re proud to be part of Papua New Guinea’s journey, with nearly 10 years of operations in the country. This year marks a major milestone for PNG — 50 years of independence — a moment of pride, reflection and celebration for a nation known as the “land of a thousand tongues and tribes united as one.”
To mark the occasion, Tammeh Cegama shared a powerful presentation on PNG’s path to independence, highlighting key historical milestones and the hopes of Papua New Guineans for the future — including good governance, improved healthcare, quality education and stronger infrastructure.
Tammeh also gave us a glimpse into how our PNG team celebrated Independence Day, with vibrant traditional attire, cultural pride and delicious local dishes bringing the workplace to life.
